Lane County
Lane County is located on the west side of Oregon, midway down the state’s coastline, and stretches from the Oregon coast to the snow-capped peaks of the Cascade Mountains. At 4,620 square miles, Lane County is larger than Delaware and Rhode Island combined and almost the size of Connecticut. Although 90% percent of Lane County is forestland, it is Oregon's 4th most populous county and the cities of Eugene and Springfield comprise the 3rd largest metropolitan area in the state.
